Hot line maintenance

Ovit ZRt. has a complex, self-developed technology (theory, apparatus and working method) for repairing and maintaining the high voltage grids during continuous operation. The maintenance equipment is designed and manufactured by Ovit ZRt., and working groups are also trained by Ovit ZRt.

The self-developed technology is very important for maintaining the continuity of the grid''s operation, and is used as necessary for the repair of a section of power lines.

We would refer to an outstanding reference, the work at high voltage done in Croatia, since 1996. The insulators, fittings, and conductors of the 400 kV line Ernestinovo-Tumbri were damaged in numerous places during the war of 1991-92. The repair of this important line of the Croatian National Electrical Grid was executed by the Construction Division of Ovit ZRt., with application of the hot line maintenance, on behalf of the Croatian Power Companies.
