Besides substation construction the Substation Construction Section of Ovit performs considerable maintenance activity on the national grid, the distributing network, in power plants and large industrial factories.

The regional construction departments possess significant groups of technical experts, devices, machines and measuring instruments to the execution of maintenance work connected to all kinds of substation appliances.

During the maintenance of traditional devices we use modern measuring and diagnostic instruments hereby, the time of maintenance is getting shorter.

By the diagnosis of modern devices, the operator can determine the maintenance suiting the condition of device. The maintenance depending on condition is performed by high skilled experts using high level diagnostic devices and maintenance software.

The maintenance activities of Ovit ZRt.''s Substation Construction Section are:

• Maintenance and diagnostic of high/high, high/medium voltage, ripple control and auxiliary transformers as well as regulators
• Cleaning and manipulating of transformer oil
• Maintenance and diagnosis of high and medium voltage appliances ( circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers)
• Maintenance of high and medium voltage SF6 gas and air insulated enclosed switchgears
• Maintenance of medium voltage in built cells devices
• Renewal and revision of high voltage devices (circuit breakers, disconnectors) in workshops
• Replacement of disconnector drives and insulators
